Daintree accommodation comes in
many different styles but Rainforest Hideaway is probably the
most unique and memorable.
We have been providing accommodation in Cape Tribulation since
July 2000 and thousands of adventurous travellers have enjoyed
their stay here deep inside the ancient Daintree rainforest.
If you are looking for some Daintree accommodation with a difference
then Rainforest Hideaway is the perfect choice; peace and quiet
and a relaxing stay are assured with only three rooms and a maximum
of six guests.
The whole place has been painstakingly handcrafted over the last
26 years, from the accommodation and the furniture to the sculptures,
which can be found in the rainforest around the house on the jungle
trails.
This unique Daintree accommodation offers you the amazing experience
to sleep right inside the oldest rainforest in the world, surrounded
by mysterious sounds, and would you believe it, no mosquitoes
at night!
We cater for the adventurous traveller with off-the-grid non-pretentious
eco-accommodation all rooms have outdoor showers and basic cooking
facilities.
While many resorts pretend to be in the rain forest but are somewhere
near it, we are in it! They also pretend to be eco-friendly while
running big diesel generators for aircons and other luxuries,
we run on solar power (with small back up generator when needed)
and source our water from rain and creek.
Others often call their cabins treehouses when they are raised
off the ground a bit, but we have a real treehouse!
And to add to this, we are one of the very few, if not the only
Daintree accommodation, with free WiFi internet for our guests!
Please view the video play list below if you are not convinced yet
that this is the most memorable Daintree accommodation.
Rainforest Hideaway gets regular visits from cassowaries.
Rainforest Hideaway is ideally located in the heart of the Daintree
right in Cape Tribulation, within walking distance of your accommodation
you will find unspoilt beaches, National Park boardwalks, hiking trails,
shops, bar and restaurants.
Rainforest Hideaway currently offers two bungalows next to the house
with amazing open air bathrooms, and for the even more adventurous travellers
a self contained jungle
treehouse.
